For the new production ENTER THE BLACKBOX, we are looking for an intern (hospitant)!

Rehearsals and production work will most likely take place at the HAU rehearsal space (Hebbel am Ufer) in Moabit. Performances will be held at HAU3, Hebbel am Ufer. You will work in close communication with and under the guidance of our artistic director as well as our company management.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

– Communication and coordination with our coders, performers, and project management, in close collaboration with our company manager

– Updating the rehearsal schedule and communicating rehearsal and attendance times to the team

– Organizational tasks on site during the rehearsal process, during the set-up at HAU, and during performances

-Taking minutes and participating in conceptual discussions

– Updating scripts

– Preparing, adapting, and operating technical equipment for test runs

– All tasks carried out in close collaboration with and in support of direction, dramaturgy, and company management

– Occasional procurement of consumable props as well as support for the technical and stage departments when needed

WHAT YOU BRING:

– Interest in artistic research in the fields of theatre, society, and digitality

– A sense of and understanding for complex dramaturgical and technical processes

– Affinity for technology

– Motivation to work on a participatory and experimental project

– Programming skills are not required; however, some experience, confidence, and curiosity in working with software are helpful

– Independence and foresight

– Good time management skills

– Clear communication

TIMELINE:

– Rehearsals will take place in two phases: 08–27.09.& 02–22.11.2026 (no rehearsals in October)

– Technical set-up, rehearsals & dress rehearsal at HAU3, Hebbel am Ufer, Berlin: 19–21 & 23–24.11.2026

– PREMIERE: 25.11.2026

– Additional performances: 26/27/28.11.2026
